At CCE students and staff also celebrate and recognize National Hispanic-Latinx Heritage Month, Sept 15-October 15. Seven Latin American countries celebrate their independence: September 15th – Costa Rica, El Salvador, Honduras, Guatemala, and Nicaragua, September 16th – Mexico, and September 18th – Chile. Also, Día de la Raza occurs on October 12 within this 30-day period. You may hear about your student’s teacher introducing many multicultural projects and songs from these countries which they highlight over the next four weeks.
