1st-6th grade dismissal time is 1:30 p.m., M-F.
Our Kindergarten class schedule will stay the same this week.
CCE Scholastic Book Fair
After School Shopping takes place Monday through Friday, 1:30-3:00 p.m. in the CCE Library. Students must be accompanied by an adult to shop after school. The simplest way for students to shop is by using a Scholastic e-wallet.

Please stop by the front of the school where our Lost and Found will be located for easy access.

¡Gracias, SIPAT, Gala Comité, voluntarios, ¡y la familia Fletcher!
Many thanks to our Spanish Immersion Parent and Teacher (SIPAT) President and Executive Board, The Gala-Auction Team, volunteers, and the Fletchers for hosting and sponsoring one of the most successful SIPAT & CCE events in history! The well-attended gathering was beyond a school fundraiser, it was an evening where CCE families and staff could really get to spend a joyful time together outside of school. We are grateful for all the hard work and coordination from our parent leaders for making this a very memorable occasion for us all. ¡Sí se puede!
CCE Robotics Club
The Robotic kits and game field arrived last week, and the students had a chance to try out their robots with the actual game pieces. There was a lot of energy in the room as everyone shared ideas, added to their robots, or worked on their block handling. The club will not meet for the rest of March, due to conferences and spring break, though will pick up again in April with about 6 weeks until the competition against other Davis schools.

1-2-3 Andres Concert Cancelled
Congratulations to 1-2-3 Andres who were invited to the White House to perform on Sunday, March 31. Unfortunately, the 2024 Grammy Winning Children’s band will not be able to make it for our scheduled Monday, April 1 assembly concert. We hope to reschedule for the next school year.

In this month’s virtual PEP talk, we will talk about the importance of self-care for parents and caregivers, discuss effective evidence-based strategies for self-care and learn how to create a life enhancing self-care plan you can use right away without letting it become a burden.
11th Annual César Chávez Bike Swap 2024: Sunday, April 14
Considering what to do with the old bike that is still in good riding condition?
Save this bike for donation or consignment at our April 14, 2024, Bike Swap. This awesome school fundraiser for CCE will be here before you know it. At our April 2023 CCE Bike Swap last year, we sold 378 bikes & bike related items AND cleared over $13,000 for CCE!!! As a reminder, if you consign items - you get 75% of the sales price and the school gets the rest. If you donate items - the school receives 100% of the proceeds.
